We Would Be an Extremely Healthy Nation If We Grew Fruit And Vegetables In Our Gardens!

on Friday, 04 December 2015.

I just had to share this with you!

My neighbour has done something amazing in recent times with his garden.  Lovingly and with great determination, he has surrendered his entire garden, front and back to growing exceptional fresh produce.

I have been truly inspired by this back yard of treasure.  Raised beds, home to many, such as cavolo nero, cherry tomatoes, beetroot, juicy radish and prize winning courgettes. An abundance of berries, a little greenhouse with laden vine and a variety of plums and apples including the almost square edged tudor apple, apparently grown by Henry VIII as a gift for Anne Boleyn.

We are now trading fresh eggs for fruit and vegetables. I somehow feel he has drawn the short straw on volume and variety!
